PACER Center
is the federally designated parent training and information
center for Minnesota. Based on the philosophy of "parents
helping parents," PACER provides a variety of services
to families who have children and young adults with all types
of disabilities. PACER operates several programs that deal
with transition from the school system to employment, independent
living and access to post-secondary education. For employers,
PACER offers presentations, training and technical assistance
on a variety of disability topics. It also is a resource for
their employees who have a member with a disability.
