Provide by
cooperative efforts, comprehensive special education services
within member districts
for children and youth having
significant learning needs due to disability or developmental
delay. Assist member districts in providing a free and appropriate
public
education for all eligible special education students age birth
through 21. Services include educational, legal, data collection
reporting, tuition billing, training, communication, interagency
planning, and maintaining cooperative website.

12 school districts in 5 counties: Carlton County: Barnum,
Carlton,
Cloquet, Cromwell, Esko, Mookse Lake, Wrenshall;
Aitkin County: McGregor; Lake County: Lake Superior; Pine County:
Willow Rivers; St. Louis County: Hermantown, Proctor.
